The Ingredients need to make Traditional South Carolina Dressing:
  1. Prepare 2 cup of dry, crumbled biscuits
  2. You need 3 cup of dry, crumbled cornbread
  3. Prepare 1/3 cup of chopped celery
  4. You need 1/2 cup of minced onions
  5. You need 1/4 cup of unsalted butter melted
  6. It’s 1 cup of chicken stock low sodium
  7. It’s 1 tsp of salt
  8. It’s 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
  9. It’s 1/4 tsp of poultry seasoning
  10. It’s 1/4 cup of water
  11. Prepare 2 of eggs
Step to make Traditional South Carolina Dressing:
  1. See my other recipes for baking the biscuits and cornbread for the dressing.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F
  3. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl until well blended.
  4. Place mixture in a 9x9 casserole dish. Use a spoon to spread it evenly.
  5. Place casserole dish in oven uncovered. Bake for about 30 minute
  6. Check if the dressing is done by placing a toothpick in the center. If the toothpick comes out with nothing on it, the dressing is done.
