The Ingredients need to make Indonesian Salad with Peanut Sauce Dressing (Gado-gado):
  1. It’s of Vegetables (excarrot,lettuce,bean sprout,tomato,cucumber etc)
  2. Prepare of Boiled potato
  3. It’s of Rice cake (lontong)
  4. You need of Hard boiled egg
  5. It’s of Fried tofu
  6. You need of Fried tempeh
  7. It’s of Tapioca crackers (krupuk)
  8. Prepare of Peanut Sauce Dressing
  9. You need 6 of garlic cloves
  10. You need 1 tbs of chili powder or paprika powder
  11. It’s 1-2 tsp of tamarind paste or to taste
  12. It’s 100 gr of coconut sugar
  13. Prepare 2 tsp of salt
  14. It’s 2 tbs of sugar
  15. Prepare to taste of Ground white pepper
  16. It’s 150 gr of natural peanut butter (no salt/sugar added)
  17. You need 500 ml of coconut milk
  18. It’s 100 ml of water
  19. You need of Note
  20. Prepare of If you dont have peanut butter, use 200 gr ground fried peanut
  21. You need of If you dont have coconut sugar, use granulated sugar
Step to make Indonesian Salad with Peanut Sauce Dressing (Gado-gado):
  1. Cut/slice the vegetables as you like. Set aside.
  2. Cut the remaining ingredients (potato, rice cake, egg, tofu, tempe) as you like.
  3. How to make Peanut Sauce Dressing fry the garlic clove until golden brown.
  4. Put fried garlic, chili powder, peanut butter, coconut milk and water in the blender. Blend all together until smooth.
  5. Pour it into a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat.
  6. Add coconut sugar, salt and sugar.
  7. Stir until it bubble Add tamarind paste.
  8. Keep stirring it until it boils hard and looks oily. If it hasnt looked oily, keep stirring it and lower the heat down. Make sure to taste it and add sugar/salt/tamarind if needed.
  9. When the peanut sauce is ready, cool it down.
  10. How to serve Put veggies and everything else, except the crackers, onto a serving plate. Drizzle the peanut sauce as much as you like 😊. Put the crackers on top. Enjoy. (The best way to eat it is to mix everything all together).
