The Ingredients needed to make Middle-Eastern Bourekas:
  1. It’s of Pre-made puff pastry
  2. You need 350 g of cream cheese
  3. Prepare 150 g of red leicester, grated
  4. Prepare 150 g of cheddar, grated
  5. You need 150 g of edam, grated
  6. Prepare 2 of eggs
  7. It’s of Sesame seeds
  8. You need of Poppy seeds
Step to make Middle-Eastern Bourekas:
  1. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until about the thickness of a penny.
  2. Cut out even squares of pastry, around 15cm wide.
  3. Combine the cheese and 1 egg. Spoon this mixture on to the squares of pastry.
  4. Fold over the corner on one side to meet the other and bind with a wet finger. Press together with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with the other egg, whisked. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and poppy seed
  6. Bake at 180C for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
