The Ingredients need to make Cheedai (South Indian special):
  1. You need 600 grm of raw rice
  2. Prepare 3 spoons of full urad dhal
  3. Prepare to taste of Salt
  4. It’s 25 grm of Butter
  5. You need 2 teaspoon of Coconut powder
  6. Prepare 1 pinch of Hing little bit
  7. Prepare as needed of Water to make a dough
Step to make Cheedai (South Indian special):
  1. First soak the rice for 2 hours drain the water and let it be samp but not wet. Then make a fine powder of it and roast it for 2 mins on low flame and keep aside. Then make a powder of urad dhal and pass this and rice flour through a sieve to get a fine powder.
  2. Now add salt hing and coconut powder and mix well. Then add melted butter and mix well. Slowly incorporate water to make a soft and smooth dough. Once done grease your hands and make small balls and deep fry it in oil and serve.
