The Ingredients needed to make Healthy Indian Gooseberry Pulao - One pot Meal:
- Prepare 3 of Indian Gooseberry berry / amla - finely grated
- Prepare 1 slits of Onion -
- You need 1 grated of Carrot -
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Dried Black Raisins
- Prepare 1 of Bay leaves -
- You need 1 of Star anise
- Prepare 5 of Pepper cons
- It’s - 4 of Cloves
- It’s 1 tsp of Pulao Masala powder
- Prepare to taste of Salt
- You need 1 tsp of Ghee
- It’s 6 slit of Green Chillies -
- You need 1 .5 cup of Rice - - soak rice for 30 mins
- It’s 1:2 ratio of Water -
- It’s 2 tbsp of Oil
- Prepare As required of Mustard seeds for tempering
- You need as required of Green peas
Step to make Healthy Indian Gooseberry Pulao - One pot Meal:
- In a cooker, add 2 tbsp of oil, once oil is heated, add mustard seed When It starts Splattering, add all the masala items give it a good mix.
- Then add green chillies mix it till changes colour. Add onion slit Mix it well till it changes to golden brown. Add grated carrot, saute till the raw smell goe
- Then add grated indian Gooseberry, mix it well.add green peas, saute for 2 mins Then add salt Pulov powder saute for a while
- Add water in 12 ratio. Allow it boil. Once it starts to boil, add rice and stir it well. Close the cooker lid. After 3 whistles leave for 15 min Then open the lid
- Take a pan, add 1tsp of ghee once its heated then add black raisins, saute it for 2 min Add ghee flavoured raisins to Pulao and give it a good mix. Adding raisins neutralize the bitter taste of Amla. Healthy Tasty Amla Pulav is Ready to serve. Serve hot for the best taste.
