The Ingredients need to make Salade Niçoise:

  2. You need 2 tins of tuna, in oil or spring water
  3. Prepare 12 of small new potatoes, cooked with skin on and quartered lengthways
  4. It’s 4 of vine tomatoes, chopped
  5. Prepare 120 g of French beans, topped and cooked al dente
  6. It’s 1 of Romaine lettuce
  7. You need 2 of red peppers, roasted and seeded
  8. Prepare 1/2 of cucumber, sliced into half circles
  9. It’s 1/2 of red onion finely sliced into half rings
  10. Prepare 2 of free range/organic eggs, boiled and quartered lengthways
  11. You need 8 of anchovy fillets, cut in half lengthways
  12. Prepare 20 of black olives, pitted
  13. Prepare of French dressing/vinaigrette
  14. It’s 120 ml of olive oil
  15. It’s 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  16. It’s 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
  17. It’s 1 of shallot, finely minced
  18. Prepare 1 of small garlic clove, finely minced
  19. You need of Sea salt
Step to make Salade Niçoise:
  1. Dressing whisk together all the ingredients and season to taste
  2. Salad Using your hands, tear up the washed and dried romaine lettuce leaves and lay over 4 dishes/dinner plates
  3. Arrange the tuna, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, green beans, potatoes, boiled egg quarters, olives and anchovy strips, equally over the 4 plates
  4. Drizzle over the French dressing and finish with freshly ground black pepper, to taste
