The Ingredients need to make Panchratna Dal/ Chevti Dal:
  1. Prepare 1 cup of mixed dal washed and soaked 30 minutes

  5. It’s 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  6. You need 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
  7. Prepare 1 of large bay leaf

  9. It’s 2 of whole red chillies
  10. You need 3 of chopped green chillies
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp of ground pepper
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp of turmeric powder
  13. It’s 1 tbsp of red chilli powder
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp of rajwadi masala
  15. You need 1 tbsp of salt
  16. It’s 1 tsp of mustard seeds
  17. It’s 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  18. It’s Pinch of asafoetida
  19. Prepare 1 of lemon
  20. Prepare 5-6 of curry leaves
  21. Prepare 3 stalks of spring onions chopped
  22. You need 2-3 tbsp of ghee
Step to make Panchratna Dal/ Chevti Dal:
  1. In a pressure cook add 3.5 cups of water with soaked mix dal. Add 0.5 tbsp of turmeric, 1 tbsp pepper and 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste. Cook for 4 whistle
  2. In a large wok, heat 3 tbsp ghee. Add mustard seeds and cu Let it crackle. Add cinnamon, whole red chillies and bay leaf. Add a pinch of asafoetida. Stir well.
