  2. You need 2 tbsp. of potato starch(18 g)
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp. of salad oil (12 g)
  4. You need of Sauce ingredients
  5. You need 3 tbsp. of ・sugar
  6. Prepare 2 tsp. of ・soy sauce
  7. You need 2 tsp. of ・“mirin,” sweet rice wine for cooking
  8. It’s 2 tsp. of ・potato starch
  9. It’s 3 tbsp. of ・water
Step to make “Imo-mochi,” sticky potato cake:
  1. Peel the potatoes and boil them. Discard the water and burn off excess
  2. Mash the potatoes while they are hot. Once cooled down, add potato starch and mix.
  3. Divide the mix into four, roll each of them into a ball shape and flatten.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry both side
  5. Place the sauce ingredients in a pan, boil on low heat and stir until it is thickened.
  6. Pour the sauce over the sticky potato cake
