- It’s 1 lb of ground beef or venison
- It’s 1-64 oz of bottle v8 hot and spicy
- Prepare 1 lb of extra firm tofu
- It’s 1 pack of hot chili seasoning
- Prepare 1 of jalapeño- diced fine
- Prepare 1/2 of purple onion diced finely
- You need 1 of limes juice
- It’s 1 can of diced tomatoes with green Chile’s (hot)
- You need 1 can of dark red kidney beans
- You need 1 can of great northern beans
- Prepare 1 can of light red kidney beans
- It’s 1 can of navy beans
- Prepare 2 tablespoons of sugar
- You need of To taste pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika and red chili flakes
Step to make 1 Pot, 30 Minute Spicy Chili with Tofu:
- Mix diced jalapeño, diced onion and diced tofu (drain tofu and lightly squeeze) into a large kettle and sauté on medium heat until onion is translucent.
- Place ground beef in with the sautéed tofu, onion and jalapeño and cook until beef is done. Squeeze in lime.
- Drain beans and add them in as well as tomatoes with green Chile’s, v8 and all spice Simmer on low for 15-20 minutes to bring out the heat in the pepper and spice
