  3. You need 1 1/8 cups of white rice (Uncle Bens)
  4. You need 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  5. You need 1 of white onion, chopped
  6. It’s 2 of bell peppers, chopped
  7. You need 1 of jalapeno, chopped
  8. You need 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  9. It’s 3 cups of chicken broth
  10. It’s 1 (14 oz) of can crushed tomatoes
  11. You need 1 1/2 Tbs of Cajun seasoning
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp of thyme
  13. Prepare 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
  14. It’s 1 of bay leaf
  15. You need 3/4 cup of okra, sliced
  16. You need 1 pkg of polish sausage, sliced
  17. You need 1 lb of shrimp thawed and peeled
  18. Prepare of Salt and pepper for taste
  19. Prepare of Toppings
  20. It’s of Parsley
  21. Prepare of Green onion
  22. You need of Hot sauce

  4. Add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, cajun seasoning, thyme, cayenne pepper, bay leaf, okra, sausage, and chicken back in. Bring to a boil, turn the heat all the way to low, cover and let simmer for 25 minute
  5. Top with shrimp once the rice is cooked. Add toppings to individual bowls and enjoy!
