  9. It’s 4-5 of dry red chilies
  10. Prepare 10-12 of whole peppercorns
  11. You need 1/2 cup of fresh grated coconut
  12. Prepare 1 tsp. of ginger, chopped
  13. Prepare 1 tsp. of garlic, chopped
  14. It’s 1 tsp. of tamarind paste
  15. Prepare 1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder
  16. It’s to taste of salt
  17. You need 1 tbsp. of coriander leaves, chopped

  1. Marinate the prawns with a pinch of salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder for 10 minute
  2. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a pan dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chilies peppercorn
  3. Grind along with coconut, 1 onion, ginger, garlic tamarind to a paste.
  4. Heat remaining oil saute the remaining onion curry leaves till light brown.
  5. Add the ground paste turmeric powder. Saute till the oil separate
  6. Add 1 cup water salt. Bring it to a boil.
  7. Add the marinated prawn Cover and simmer for 3-4 minute
  8. When done, switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves,
  9. Serve with plain steamed rice, pulao, plain biryani or any type of Indian bread. It also goes well with dosa, appam and idiyappam.
