Hence Gizdodo (Gizzard Dodo) and we all know that dodo is just another name for ripe plantain. Tossed with Onions, Green bell peppers, and Yellow bell peppers and Orange bell pepper If you dont like Red bell peppers and Green peppers, you can toss it in whatever vegetables you Gizdodo is the combination of plantains and Gizzards (chicken Gizzards) and Plantains mixed in Pepper Sauce.

The Ingredients needed to make Gizz dodo in Veggie sauce served with peppers rice:
  1. It’s 1 cup of rice
  2. You need 2 tsp of roughly blended fresh pepper
  3. You need 1 of cooking spoon curry powder
  4. It’s 1 of cooking spoon thyme
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of Cameroon pepper
  6. Prepare 1 of seasoning cube
  7. It’s 1 tsp of salt
  8. You need 2 of big red onion
  9. It’s 1 of big tin green peas
  10. It’s 1 of big tin sweet corn
  11. You need 1/2 of kilo carrot
  12. Prepare 1/2 of kilo green peppers
  13. Prepare 1/2 of kilo green beans
  14. It’s 1 of nut Meg (grated)
  15. Prepare 1 of kilo gizzard
  16. Prepare 4 of fingers ripe plantain
  17. You need 4 of soup spoon of cooking oil

I used soy sauce instead of salt and it was deliciou I added soy sauce ,pinch of salt and frozen mixed vegetables because I only had red peppers and no mushrooms,it was so tasty !! Usually, peppers are stuffed with meat, but this vegetarian-friendly version is just as deliciou Uncover; sprinkle peppers with remaining cheese.

  1. Wash and season gizzard with salt, curry and seasoning cube… Set aside

Then add Cameroon pepper..and the sauce from the cooked gizzard… Stir to avoid burning…. Then pour in all your diced veggies including sweet corn, fried plantains and green pea.. Stir and allow to soften, taste for salt
  5. For the rice… Wash and parboil your rice, was and sieve… Add salt and 1 tsp or roughly blended pepper. Add a pinch of grated nutmeg and curry.. Then water(according to the state of rice and how soft you want it to get)… When cooked, served as shown above

Heat the oil in a large, deep frying pan, then add the peppers and mushroom Tip the egg and spring onions onto the rice, fluff up with a fork, season with soy sauce and sesame oil, then serve. Veggies are wrapped in rice paper and served with a sweet chili or peanut dipping sauce. You can find rice paper for summer rolls in the Asian section of your grocery store.
