  1. You need of cleaned and denailed chicken feet (dont leave!)
  2. You need of chicken gizzard/heart mix

  7. Prepare of oregano
  8. Prepare of chicken bouillon (or to taste)
  9. It’s of stewed tomatoes
  10. You need of chicken wings
  11. You need of chicken legs
  12. Prepare of boneless chicken leg meat cut into cubes
  13. Prepare of chayote (or zucchini) cubed
  14. Prepare of potatoes cubed
  15. You need of baby carrots
  16. Prepare of frozen mixed veggies
  17. You need of corn on cob cut into pieces
  18. You need of chopped cilantro
  19. It’s of head cabbage cut in chunks
  20. Prepare of salt and pepper to taste
  21. You need of cayenne pepper to taste

This new twist on an old goody is sure to tantalize your taste bud I usually freeze half for quick easy meals later. Start the chicken in your slow cooker with water as high as your cooker permits, add about ¼ of your onion, garlic clove, chili powder, black pepper and a small amount of salt. Take out your favorite soup pot and add a little olive oil in there.

  1. throw first 9 ingredients into large stock pot, cover with water, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 25 minute
  2. add chicken wings, chicken legs and leg meat, bring back to boil, cover and simmer for 25 minutes
  3. add chayote, outdoors, carrots, frozen veggies and corn on cob, bring back to boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes
  4. add remaining ingredients, bring to boil, cover and simmer till done, about 15 minutes
  5. enjoy! the feet add something amazing to the broth, I like to add chopped radish and lime juice to my bowl, so yummy!

Next saute your garlic, chopped carrots, celery, and onions until almost tender. Add in some great boxed, low sodium broth like the one from Trader Joes, (or any of your favorites) and a sprinkling of fresh parsley. My husband and I love buffalo chicken wings, so we created a soup with the same zippy flavor. Bring to boil, and simmer for an hour. Strain broth and put back on the stove to keep warm (you can simmer longer just with spices but the chicken will be cooked).
