The Ingredients needed to make Salty Chocolate Loaf:
  1. You need of INGREDIENTS for 23.5 x 7 x 12 Cake
  2. You need of Oven Temperature / 350F
  3. You need of Baking Time / 50 min
  4. You need of - Chocolate Cubes -
  5. You need 100 g of Dark Chocolate
  6. You need 2 g of Salt
  7. Prepare of - Chocolate Loaf -
  8. You need 170 g of Butter
  9. You need 180 g of Sugar
  10. Prepare 170 g of Eggs (about 3 Eggs)
  11. You need 140 g of Flour
  12. You need 35 g of Cocoa Powder
  13. It’s 8 g of Baking Powder
  14. Prepare of - Syrup -
  15. Prepare 30 g of Sugar
  16. Prepare 45 g of Water
  17. Prepare 5 g of Brandy
  18. It’s of - Quantities for Exterior -
  19. You need of Vegetable Oil Spray
Step to make Salty Chocolate Loaf:
    • Chocolate Cubes -
  1. Add the chopped dark chocolate and salt to a medium bowl and melt in warm water on the stove (50C).
  2. Cover the inside of a loaf mold with plastic wrap.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into the mold. Keep in the freezer until frozen.
  4. Remove from mold, cut into cubes, and set aside until use.
    • Chocolate Loaf -
  5. Preheat oven to 350F.
  6. Spray a loaf mold with vegetable oil.
  7. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder into a medium bowl and combine. Set aside until use.
  8. Beat the eggs and set aside until use.
  9. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the beaten eggs gradually and mix well.
  10. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and use a rubber spatula to mix until half mixed.
  11. Add the chocolate cubes to the mixture and mix until smooth.
  12. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake for 50 min, rotating the mold halfway through.
  13. Just before the loaf finishes baking, add the sugar and water to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add the brandy to the solution and mix well.
  14. Remove the cake from the mold and brush the cake with the hot syrup.
