The Ingredients needed to make Kimchi Shiso Onigiri (Rice Balls):
- You need 360 ml of Uncooked white rice
- You need 300 grams of Kimchi
- You need 20 of leaves Shiso leaves
- You need 1 of Roasted sesame seeds
- You need of Flavoring ingredients
- It’s 1 tbsp of Sugar
- You need 1 dash of Sesame oil
Step to make Kimchi Shiso Onigiri (Rice Balls):
- Wash the rice, add it to the rice cooker, and turn it on ♪
- Thinly slice the kimchi and shiso leave
- Add the kimchi to a frying pan and stir-fry (adding oil is unnecessary). When its heated through, add the sugar and stir-fry.
- Add the cooked rice and stir-fry (use a rice paddle to mix the rice with a cutting motion to avoid breaking the grains of rice).
- Turn off the heat. Add the shiso leaves, roasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil and mix with the rice.
- Stir well and then shape into rice balls of any shape you like. All done.
