- It’s 3-4 Tbs of liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
- It’s 2 tsp of brown sugar
- You need 1 tbs of rice vinegar
- You need 2 tbs of ponzu sauce
- Prepare 1-2 tbs of fish sauce
- It’s 2 of eggs lightly beaten
- You need 1 package of shitake mushrooms
- Prepare of Shredded cabbage, carrots, red cabbage
- It’s of Peas
- Prepare 1 lb of pad Thai noodles or linguine noodles
- It’s 1-2 of jalapeños diced
- Prepare 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts
- You need of Limes
Step to make “Fake out” Pad Thai:
- If using rice stick noodles, soak in cold water for 30 minute Cook noodles in boiling water for 5 minute Drain and mix with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

- Add remaining liquid ingredient Transfer the chicken and shrimp back into the wok. Raise the heat and stir to mix. Add noddles and mix. You may need to add liquid aminos and extra ponzu at this point. You can also add a splash of chicken or vegetable broth to the sauce.
- Transfer to a large serving bowl and top with chopped peanuts or nut mixture. Garnish with quartered limes if desired.
