The Ingredients need to make Chinese Chicken with Oyster Sauce:
  1. It’s 500 gm of chicken breast or thighs, cubed
  2. Prepare 1 tsp of garlic, chopped
  3. It’s 1 bunch of scallions, chopped
  4. Prepare 1 of small onion, chopped
  5. Prepare 1 of small capsicum, chopped
  6. It’s 2 tsp of soya sauce
  7. Prepare 2 tbs of oyster sauce
  8. You need 1/2 tsp of sugar
  9. You need 1 tbs of cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tbs water
  10. You need 2 tbs of cornstarch
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of pepper
Step to make Chinese Chicken with Oyster Sauce:
  1. Marinate the cubed chicken with 2 tbs cornstarch, 1 tbs soya sauce and pepper
  2. Set aside for about ½ hour and then deep fry the chicken and keep aside
  3. Heat 1 tbs oil in a wok on high heat.
  4. Add garlic and stir till fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add the scallion, capsicum and onion
  6. Add the soya sauce, oyster sauce and sugar and stir.
  7. Add the cornstarch dissolved in water and stir well until the mixture begins to thicken
  8. Add the fried chicken pieces and mix well.
  9. Remove from heat and serve immediately with fried rice or noodle
