The Ingredients needed to make CARAMELIZED CHICKEN (WITH JAGGERY):
  1. You need 1 kg of Chicken (boneless preferable)
  2. It’s 1/2 cup of Jaggery
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup of Honey
  4. You need 200 ml of Coconut sap
  5. It’s 3 tablespoons of Mushroom sauce
  6. Prepare 2 teaspoons of Soya sauce
  7. It’s To taste of Salt
  8. You need 5 of Dry red chilli

Savoury sautéed chicken breasts are piled high with sweet mounds of cooked onions for a dinner that will have your family clucking with pleasure! Double the recipe to feed a larger flock. Yummy caramelized legs, kids love these! So quick and easy and no marinating required.

Step to make CARAMELIZED CHICKEN (WITH JAGGERY):
  1. Put jaggery in a pan add water (200 ml) and heat it. When it dissolves, stop heat and seive it.
  2. In a pan add chicken, pour seived jaggery, mix it well.
  3. Add Honey, Soya sauce, mushroom sauce.
  4. Add coconut sap and salt.
  5. Put it in Sim. Cook for one hour. Add dry red chilli just 5 minutes before switching off the stove.
  6. Serve it hot. Kids would love it.

Just prepare the sauce, pour over the chicken and pop in the oven! I actually like this with wings better ;-) VERY IMPORTANT TO LEAVE IT IN THE OVEN UNTIL IT HAS CARAMELIZED TO AVOID. Serve with the caramelized onion mixture. I enjoy a plate of fried chicken as much as the next person, but I have to admit that its not something I ever make at home.
