In this video i will share with you my badami chicken recipe. Rich and flavorful is this Badami Chicken - Chicken in Almond Gravy! This Chicken curry is quite rich and full of proteins and calcium.

The Ingredients needed to make Badami chicken with gravy:
  1. Prepare For of marination
  2. Prepare 750 grams of chicken
  3. You need 12-14 of soaked almonds paste
  4. It’s 1 cup of curd
  5. Prepare 2 tsp of ginger paste
  6. You need 1 tsp of garlic paste
  7. It’s 1 tsp of red chilli powder
  8. It’s 1 tsp of Turmeric powder
  9. It’s 1 tsp of coriander powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp of cumin powder
  11. You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  12. It’s 2 tsp of white oil
  13. Prepare 1 cup of fried brown onion
  14. It’s As per taste of Salt
  15. Prepare Other of ingredients
  16. It’s 2 of green chillies
  17. It’s 1/2 cup of coriander leaves paste
  18. Prepare 2 of red chillies whole
  19. Prepare 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds
  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
  21. It’s 2-3 tsp of oil
  22. Prepare 1/2 cup of fresh cream

The yellow creamy gravy tastes yum. If you have this chicken curry overnight or the next day then this Chicken in Almond. Murg Badami is an almond based gravy dish which is made with almond and poppy seeds paste, flavored with cardamom powder and whole spice powder. This is an easy but creamy and spicy gravy based chicken recipe.

Step to make Badami chicken with gravy:
  1. Marinate the chicken with listed ingredients under marination. Keep it for 15 min
  2. Heat oil in kadai, add broken red chillies, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds as tempering.
  3. Then add marinated chicken and cook it in high flame with stirring for 10-15 min
  4. Next put flame medium to low, add coriander chilli paste, cook with lid. Cook untill chicken almost done.
  5. Add fresh cream and water to make the required consistency of gravy. Cook another 9-10 mins and done.

Usually cook with sliced onions but I used boiled onion puree that gives a nice. Chicken- ¾ kg(cut into large pieces). Almond - ½ cup(soaked in water, peel removed and ground into a paste). Add chicken pieces, turmeric powder,garam masala,salt and almond paste. Let it simmer till chicken pieces are cooked to tender.
