  7. After liquid has been boiling on the stove for its 10 minutes, turn heat off and let rest for a minute or two before transferring into a heatproof storage vessel. (I prefer a stainless steel or glass bowl.) Cool to room temperature.
  8. When butterscotch liquid is room temperature, take a small taste. Its important to know what cooked brown sugar and butter tastes like, and what happens when transforming that flat sweetness into real butterscotch flavor.
  9. For the fudge
  10. Heat a deep pot, add the butterscotch and condensed milk and cook for 4 minutes in low flame.
  11. Then turn off the stove. Add the chocolate pieces and let it completely be dissolved.
  12. Beat the mixture
  13. Transfer it in a deep plate and refrigerate it for 4 to 8 hour
  14. Before serving sprikle cocoa powder on top of it.
  15. Tips well cutting the fudge, deep the knife in room temperature water while cutting because the fudge is sticky.
