The Ingredients need to make Veggie Packed Pork Miso Soup:
- Prepare 100 grams of Thinly sliced pork
- It’s 10 of cm Daikon radish
- Prepare 1/2 of Carrot
- Prepare 1 of Potatoes
- It’s 5 of cm Burdock root
- It’s 1/2 packages of Enoki mushrooms
- Prepare 1/2 block of Tofu
- You need 1/2 of Japanese leek
- It’s 8 grams of Dashi stock granules
- You need 3 tbsp of Miso
- It’s 2 tbsp of Sake
- It’s 1 liter of Water
Step to make Veggie Packed Pork Miso Soup:
- Shave the burdock root into thin slices and soak in
- Cut the daikon radish and carrots into wedges, potatoes, enoki mushrooms, tofu and pork into bite sized pieces, and finely chop the Japanese leek.
- Place the water, daikon radish, carrots, potatoes and burdock roots in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Turn the heat down to medium and simmer for 5 minutes (skim off the scum).
- Add the dashi stock, pork, enoki mushrooms, tofu and simmer for 2~3 minutes (skim off the scum).
- Add the sake and turn off the heat after a little while. Whisk in the miso. Add Japanese leek and heat over low heat (dont boil).
