The Ingredients need to make Cute Girls Day Temari Sushi:
- You need of Sushi Rice
- It’s 700 grams of Plain cooked rice
- It’s 1 tbsp of Vinegar
- It’s 1 tbsp of Sugar
- You need 1 tsp of Salt
- It’s of Sushi Topping
- It’s 1 of pack Sashimi cuts
- You need 1 slice of Lemon
- It’s 1 slice of Ham
- Prepare 5 of Radish sprouts
- Prepare 1 piece of Cheese
- It’s 1 slice of Shiso leaf
Step to make Cute Girls Day Temari Sushi:
- [Kids] Mix together all of the ingredients to make the seasoning for the sushi rice. Empty some warmed cooked rice into tupperware or similar and mix in the seasoning.
- [Kids] Mix the seasoning into the rice with a cutting motion. [Adults] If the rice doesnt cool quickly on its own, fan it with a fan whilst the kids mix in the seasoning.
- [Adults] Slice the sashimi into thin, bite sized slice If they are too big then they wont fit onto the rice well and wont look very nice.
- Preparing the topping [Adults] Cut the lemon and other topping ingredients into small piece [Kids] Cut out some star shapes from a slice of ham.
- [Kids] Place a sheet of cling film over a small 3 cm bowl.
- [Kids] Place a piece of sashimi on top of the cling film, then a ball of rice.
- [Kids] Lift everything out of the bowl and wrap in the cling film. Tightly shape everything into a ball to complete.
- [Kids] Remove the wrap and add the finishing touches with a few topping If you want to use shiso leaves, add the ingredients in the order of sashimi-shiso leaf-rice.
