The Ingredients needed to make Scallion Pancake (Korean Pancakes Chijimi):
  1. Prepare 1 bunch of Scallions, Chinese chives, or green onions (any vegetables you like)
  2. It’s 150 g of Flour
  3. It’s 50 g of Potato Starch (or use flour if you dont have)
  4. It’s 1 of Egg
  5. It’s 200-250 ml of Water
  6. It’s 1/2 tsp of Salt
  7. You need 1/2 tsp of Soup stock cube
  8. It’s ▲2 tsp of Soy sauce
  9. Prepare ▲1 tsp of Sugar
  10. Prepare ▲2 tsp of Sesame oil
  11. You need ▲1 tsp of vinegar
  12. You need ▲1 tsp of sesame seeds
Step to make Scallion Pancake (Korean Pancakes Chijimi):
  1. Cut scallions, Chinese chives, or green onions into 2-3 cm piece
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 150g flour, 50g starch (if you dont have it, you can use Flour), 1 egg, 1/2 tsp salt and Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Stir scallions, Chinese chives, green onions into batter. Mix batter well.
  4. Heat oil for medium frying pan. Pour in half the batter and fry until bottom starts to brown.
  5. Flip to other side and cook covered for four minute.
  6. Remove pancake and cook the rest of the batter.
  7. Make your dipping sauce by mixing ingredients marked with ▲ .
  8. Cut into easy to serve slices and serve with dipping sauce.
