The Ingredients needed to make Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani:
  1. Prepare 1 kg of meat/chicken
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  3. It’s 1 tbsp of salt
  4. You need 1 tbsp of red chilli paste
  5. You need 1 tbsp of green chilli paste (sauteed brown onions to taste)
  6. You need 1/2 tbsp of cardamom powder
  7. Prepare 3-4 of Cinnamon sticks
  8. You need 1 tbsp of cumin seeds
  9. It’s 4 of Cloves
  10. It’s 1 pinch of mace
  11. It’s to taste of mint leaves
  12. You need 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  13. It’s 250 gms of curd
  14. You need 4 tbsp of clarified butter
  15. It’s 750 gms of semi cooked rice
  16. You need 1 tsp of saffron
  17. You need 1/2 cup of water
  18. Prepare 1/2 cup of oil
Step to make Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani:
  1. Clean the meat.
  2. Now in a pan add meat, salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, green chilli paste, sauteed brown onions,
  3. Cardamom powder, cinnamon, cumin seeds, cloves, mace, mint leaves and lemon juice. Mix all of these ingredients thoroughly together. Add curd, clarified butter, semi cooked rice, saffron, water and oil. Mix it well.
  4. Now apply sticky dough on the sides of the pan. Cover with lid to seal it and cook for about 25 minute
  5. Hyderabadi Biryani is ready to eat.
