  7. Prepare to taste of Salt

  9. It’s 2 of big onions chopped
  10. You need 1/4 cup of tomato chopped
  11. It’s 1/2 cup of mint leaves
  12. You need 1/2 cup of Coriander leaves
  13. It’s 5 of green chilli sliced long
  14. You need 2 tbsp of ginger galic paste
  15. It’s as needed of Oil
  16. It’s 1 tbsp of Garam masala
  17. You need 3 tbsp of Coriander powder
  18. It’s 3 tbsp of black Pepper powder
  19. Prepare 1 tbsp of chicken masala
  20. You need 2 tsp of red chilli powder
  21. You need to taste of Salt
  22. You need of For rice
  23. It’s 4 cup of basmati rice
  24. You need as needed of water
  25. You need 2 inch of sized cinnamon stick
  26. It’s 2 of Cloves
  27. It’s 1 of cardamom
  28. Prepare 1 of star anise (thakkolam)
  29. You need 1 tbsp of ghee
  30. Prepare to taste of Salt

I had never made chicken biryani before I decided to share this recipe. Chicken Biryani is one of the more complicated rice dishes in Indian/pakistani cooking. Step to make Chicken biryani:
  1. For marination, add all the ingredients to chicken and mix well. Keep aside for 30 minutes

  4. To this mix add the chicken and mix well. Add 1/2 cup water to it.
  5. Close the cooker lid and leave the chicken to cook in high flame. After 1st whistle, reduce the flame and keep again for 10 minute Switch off and wait till all the pressure escape
  6. Open the lid and if you find much water, just switch on flame and cook until it is like semi gravy
  7. Now add your rice to it. Add melted ghee on top. If you wish, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, fried onions, fried cashew, fried yellow raisins on top. Simply close the lid and keep aside for 10 minutes
  8. You can open the lid and mix them. Biriyani is ready.
