  17. You need 1 inch of cinnamon

I had never made chicken biryani before I decided to share this recipe. Chicken Biryani is one of the more complicated rice dishes in Indian/pakistani cooking.   4. Add chilli powder. Saute for 2 min
  5. Add curd and mix well.
  6. Add cleaned chicken piece
  7. Let it cool on low flame for 5 min
  8. Now add water 800 ml
  9. Cover with lid for 5 mins on low flame.
  10. Once water starts boiling add soaked basmati rice.
  11. Cover with lid and place a weight over the lid. Cook for 5 mins on high flame. After 5 mins you can see fumes coming out from lid.
  12. Reduce the flame and cook for 15 min
  13. After 15 mins biryani is ready serve it with curd raitha.
