Hallo Everbody Today I will be showing you a Malaysian In-Grown Fusion Food. Its a fusion between Nyonya and Cantonese Hawker style of cooking. This dish i Kam Heong is a signature Malaysian stir-fry style that is renowned for the fragrance imparted during the cooking process, hence the Cantonese term Kam Heong (金香), which means Golden Fragrance.

Kam heong (金香) is Cantonese dialect and literally translate as golden fragrance. The aromatic spice blend is popularly used to stir fry crabs, chicken, clams and in this recipe, prawn The aroma of the curry powder and curry leaves totally stands out in this dish.

The Ingredients needed to make Golden Fragrance Chicken (Kam Heong Chicken):
  1. It’s 350 g of Chicken Meat (skinless, boneless and cut into pieces)
  2. You need of Kam Heong Paste (processed in a blender);
  3. Prepare 40 g of Shallots
  4. You need 20 g of Garlic
  5. Prepare 20 g of Ginger
  6. You need 20 g of Dried Chilli (deseed, rehydrate)
  7. Prepare 20 g of Lemongrass
  8. It’s 1 Tbsp of Dried Shrimp (rehydrate)
  9. You need 1-2 Tbsp of Curry Powder
  10. You need of For Stir Frying;
  11. Prepare 3 Tbsp of Cooking Oil
  12. It’s 1 sprig of Curry Leaves
  13. You need 1/4 cup of Tamarind Juice
  14. Prepare 2-3 tsp of Sugar
  15. Prepare 1 tsp of Salt
