The Ingredients needed to make Sorollitos (Puerto Rican corn fritters):
- Prepare 2 cup of water
- Prepare 1 cup of yellow corn meal
- You need 1/4 cup of sugar
- Prepare 1 pinch of salt
- Prepare 1 tbsp of butter
Step to make Sorollitos (Puerto Rican corn fritters):
- In a sauce pan, boil water with sugar, salt and butter
- Once boiling stir in corn meal and remove from heat
- Stir until smooth and their are hardly any lumps and let cool
- Once cooled wet your hands and take about a lime size amount of dough in your hands and roll into log If dough starts to stick to your hands just wet them again and again.
- Fry in medium high heat until golden brown.
