  1. Prepare 1/2 kg of Tapioca
  2. You need 1/2 cup of Grated coconut
  3. Prepare 5-7 of Pearl onions
  4. You need 1 tsp of Chopped garlic
  5. It’s 3 of Green chillies
  6. It’s 1/4 tsp of Cumin seeds
  7. Prepare few of Curry leaves
  8. You need for of tempering
  9. It’s 4 of Small onions
  10. It’s 1/4 tsp of Mustard seeds
  11. You need few of Curry leaves
  12. You need 1 1/2 tsp of Coconut
Step to make Kappa vevichadu (Boiled Tapioca)Kerala traditional breakfast:
  1. Add water and salt cleaned tapioca.The water level should be 2-3 inches higher then tapioca.Bring it boil and reduce the flame to the lowe
  2. Combine coconut, pearl onion,green chilli, garlic, jeera,curry leaves, turmeric powder, using your finger tip
  3. Make it well in the center of the mashed tapioca and add coconut mixture.cover it with tapioca.mix it well.You can drizzle some coconut oil of it this stage if you like.
  4. Cover in it cook with 5-7 mins in low flame.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan and crackcle the mustard.add slice onion and curry leavewhen onions turn light brown add coconut and fry it.till it becomes golden brown.
  6. Add this to the cooked tapioca mixture and it mix well.
