The Ingredients needed to make Malabar Paratha Kerala Style:
- It’s 250 grams of - All Purpose Flour
- It’s 1 tablespoon of - Oil
- Prepare 150 ml of - Warm milk
- You need 1/2 tablespoon of - Sugar
- Prepare To taste of Salt
Step to make Malabar Paratha Kerala Style:
- To start making, Mix all purpose flour, oil, warm milk, sugar, salt in a mixing bowl and form a dough. Cover it with a samp cloth and let it rest for 4 hour
- After 4 Hour In a bowl take some oil and keep aside. (Used for brushing on the dough)
- Divide the dough into equal portion
- Take a dough ball and spread it into a thin chappati. Brush oil all over evenly.
- Now start creating pleats by folding with the help of finger
- Roll the pleated dough. Make every dough ball the same way.
- Cover the plate with samp cloth and set aside for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour take the rolled dough and make paratha.
- Heat a tawa. Place paratha over the pan and cook both side till golden brown by brushing either oil or ghee on both side.
- Crush the paratha to form layer
- Serve hot with curry of your choice!!!
