The Ingredients needed to make Cajun Chicken over Pasta:

  2. It’s 12 ounce of boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 2 inch strips
  3. Prepare of Spice Mixture
  4. You need 1 tsp of cayenne
  5. You need 1 3/4 tsp of onion powder
  6. It’s 1 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
  7. It’s 1 tsp of paprika
  8. It’s 1 tsp of dried basil
  9. Prepare 3/4 tsp of dried oregano
  10. You need 2 1/2 Tbsp of unseasoned bread crumbs
  11. You need of Sauce
  12. It’s 2 Tsp of vegetable oil
  13. Prepare 1 tsp of crushed garlic
  14. You need 3/4 cup of chopped onions
  15. It’s 3/4 cup of chopped sweet green peppers
  16. It’s 4 cups of canned or fresh tomatoes, crushed
  17. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of dried basil
  18. You need 1 tsp of dried oregano
  19. You need 1/4 tsp of cayenne
Step to make Cajun Chicken over Pasta:
  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for the spice mixture; then coat chicken in spice mixture.
  2. In a medium, non-stick skillet sprayed with vegetable spray or covered with oil, saute chicken on medium heat until cooked through (no longer pink). Set chicken aside.
  3. In the same skillet, heat oil; saute garlic, onions and peppers for 5 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes, basil, oregano and cayenne. Simmer for 20 to 25 minute
  4. Prepare pasta of choice and top with chicken. Combine with sauce.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
