The Ingredients needed to make Jaja Bantal (Indonesian Dessert):
- It’s 350 grams of Mochi rice
- You need 1 of enough to soak the rice Water
- It’s 1 tsp of [A] Yukari
- Prepare 1 tbsp of [A] Water
- Prepare 30 grams of Shredded coconut
- Prepare 50 grams of Sugar
Step to make Jaja Bantal (Indonesian Dessert):
- Mix the yukari with the [A] ingredients, and microwave for 40 seconds (without covering in plastic wrap). Soak the mochi rice in yukari water overnight.
- Drain the mochi rice in a sieve.
- Combine with the coconut and sugar, and mix everything together.
- Scoop out 2 tablespoons of the rice mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap, and wrap it in plastic wrap.
- Wrap the rice from Step 4 with another sheet of plastic wrap to make a second layer.
- Secure by twisting the open end
- Repeat to make 5-6 wrapped portion
- Put into a boiling steamer and steam for 20-25 minutes over medium heat until they feel soft when pressed down with your hand
- Remove plastic wrap and serve the amount you want to eat. Done!
